New: From March 2010 we are offering rooms for rent.
UPDATE new photos are now uploaded...see below...
Advantages of the Upper West Region:
Tranquility and a pure Africa feeling far away from the mainstream tourist sites.
Stable political and security situation...no guerrilla or other confusions.
Favorite excursions include a National Park with lots of widlife, especially elephants and birds. A Hippo sanctuary is close by and a World-Bank sponsored tent camp in the bush is just 1 hour away. Another favorite excursion is a trip to neighboring Burkina Faso and its most beautiful city Bobo Dioulasso
Specials of the accommodation:
EcoLiving with lots of locally build equipment, a solar back-up sytem, no dependency of local electricity and water supply and a rain water collection system.
We offer a solar pressure pump for full shower power. Also enjoy one free sheabutter bath/week in our bath tube.
Bed and vegetarian breakfast is available with affordable long-term offers.
Sports and leisure opportunities are there: We offer our guests free access to our locally-made 8-foot bilard table; a swimming pool is available soon; two bicycles are for rent; guests have free and exclusive access to a basket ball court. Stay fit in Wa.
Onsite are two friendly dogs and three friendly ducks (please, not to be touched or played with). For our bird lovers we have installed three small bird swimming pools to attract some of the beautiful birds of the region.
Please call or write an E-Mail to find out more about the attractions of the area. Below you can enjoy some impressions from the house and its surroundings. You are welcome. For more info:

Destination Burkina Faso: My favorite place for breakfast in Bobo is "Cafe De Paris"; always with a nice street scene and beautiful local music for good digestion. |
Due to its international airport the most important gateway to Ghana: Accra on this photo with "downtown beach life" scene. Recommended variation: With Air France via Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and to Wa. |
